Young Frankenstein falls under a funny category of movies where you either love them or absolutely hate them. There is no middle ground.
Director Denis Villeneuve along with writer Hampton Fancher and a great cast with Ryan Gosling, Harrison Ford, Jared Leto, Robin Wright and many others come together to make a worthy sequel to the 1982 classic.
Although a remake of the Don Siegel 1956 movie, this 1978 version stands on it own two feet.
One of the movies I look at is one of the best times I have ever had going to the movies and would happily watch it again and the other is The Dark Tower.
Not only an effective thriller and a good war film but it is a kind of blockbuster that we do not see very often.
This film a rare treat to witness a movie franchise get better with each installment and end on such a grand note.
Damien Chazelle's well made but wildly overpraised film sold tickets like hot cakes, won truckloads of undeserved accolades and was the winner of the shortest lived Best Picture Oscar in history. That tends to happen when you peddle gimmicks...
Well..it IS Transformers 5. If you've seen one, you've seen them all.
Remember the days when monster stories or tales of supernatural creatures served as tales of morality? I wish we had more of those.
