I love short story anthologies and this batch of shorts from Studio Ponoc certainly didn't disappoint. It is the first volume from them and I hope it won't be the last.

This is the third film from the Studio Ghibli offshoot called Studio Ponoc. I wasn't expecting much from what I saw in the trailers but I had a copy on Blu-ray and watched it. It was better than I thought it would be.
Mary and the Witch's Flower (2017)
While I do agree that Yonebayashi’s previous directorial efforts are stronger, this new film is great on its own terms and a fantastic debut for Studio Ponoc.
