The End of Northanger Abbey. Part 4 of this review set wraps up my thoughts on these two adaptations and includes my '87 Catherine headcanon. Hopefully my headcanon doesn't disappoint!
I’m really happy with how this review turned out. It took me awhile to finally be able to pull all my thoughts together after watching these adaptations as they really are so vastly different but I think, in the end, I make a pretty entertaining and strong argument as to why one adaptation is better than the other. I’ve got two solo reviews (ie not attached to a series) that I need to knock out before my little family moves….again. I’m so done with moving y’all!
In the meantime, Daniel will be continuing with his Macross and Evangelion series and I think I’ll take the time we are moving to update our Podbean page with all our past reviews. I’ve neglected that poor channel and I keep saying I’m gonna work on it. Then I don’t.
My bad.
As a final note, Daniel and I are working on uploading all of our reviews onto Vimeo. We recently got our very first copyright strike on YouTube and one of Daniel’s Evangelion reviews was pulled down. WE thought it would be best to have a backup-backup location for our reviews, just in case we run into more issues with YouTube. And maybe we’ll pursue Patreon a little harder. We have one ya know.
