Mirai: An Underappreciated Treasure from Mamoru Hosoda
Quite frankly I am dismayed that so many dismiss this movie.
Recently, I saw a YouTube video that claimed Mirai was a “beautiful movie about absolutely nothing.” That couldn’t be further from the truth.
There is more to this film than many are willing to admit. It is my hope that this video will get more people to see it and others who were not impressed the first time around to give it another chance.

We think you’ll like it. The current video up is a re-upload with some pretty small tweaks I did. I don’t think any will notice them but they were just some small things that bothered me and I am glad they are settled.
